Anna has been a dedicated CASA volunteer since April 2024 and is now on her second case, advocating for a nine-year-old boy who has been in the dependency system since age three. When he started at a new school last month, Anna walked the campus with him beforehand to ease his nerves and help him feel comfortable. She’s also been a steady presence at his IEP meetings, speaking up to make sure he has the specialized classes and support he needs to thrive. Anna’s compassion, consistency, and genuine care shine through in every step she takes alongside him, making her truly deserving of this month’s Advocate of the Month recognition.
