Volunteer

The CASA Orientation is the first step to becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).

These Orientations are designed so every participant leaves with a clear understanding of what it means to be a CASA volunteer. Attending an Orientation is required for each potential volunteer before submitting an application. As trained advocates, CASA volunteers are appointed by Judges to be a voice for abused and neglected children in court.

CASA volunteers are ordinary people who are committed to doing what is best for a child. As a CASA volunteer, you will be able to work with confidence. All of our volunteers are thoroughly trained in the Role of a CASA, Child Development and Signs of Abuse, Cultural Competency, Substance Abuse, Mental Health and Trauma, Domestic Violence, Poverty, Educational Advocacy, and more.

We need volunteers more than ever to help a child find a safe, permanent home. Become a CASA advocate and make a lasting difference in the life of a child. Please join us to learn more about our organization, child advocate roles and responsibilities, and the process of becoming a CASA volunteer.

We welcome volunteers from all cultures, professions, and ethnic and educational backgrounds.
